The Schwaben U9 National team, led by Coach Mladen Stojanovic, returns many of the core players from last year’s team.  By adding several skilled players from within the club as well as new players to Schwaben and fostering a strong team orientation, the U9 National team has gotten off to a good start and is forming as a cohesive unit quickly.  The first test for the team was the NISL Seeding Tournament, which the team completed with flying colors. 

The team has performed well through the Fall season.  They played in the Schwaben Cup in the U10 division and competed well.  They also won the U9 Premier pool at the Downers Grove Roadrunners Socctoberfest tournament, before dropping a tough match in the finals.

The team will continue to work to improve as the season goes on and into the indoor season.  Congratulations to the team on a great start.
